The Location

The Village at Harvest Ridge is a medium-sized 55+ community located on the west side of Winchester, VA. Its close proximity to the 37 Bypass for quick access to roads leading to the south side of Winchester and Northern Virginia and Dulles airport and the Winchester Medical Center. This community is an age-restricted section of the larger Harvest Ridge neighborhood.

The Homes

Priced from the Low $500’s – Low $600’s

This community includes several different floor plans, some on one level, some on 2 levels with lofts and second story bedrooms. Some of the homes have walk out basements, some are on slabs or crawl space. The square footages vary anywhere from 2,000 square feet to 3,000 square feet, depending on the basement. The homes are all craftsmen style and are very charming.

The Builder

Oakcrest Builders developed and built the homes in the Village at Harvest Ridge. The community started in 2005 and finished out the second section in 2020 with newer and more updated floor plans and options.

The Inside Scoop

The road through The Village at Harvest Ridge is a cul-de-sac at each end with a boulevard feeling of common area with large trees and landscaping in between the streets. Some of the homes back up to a active farm, giving picturesque views of the Winchester countryside. Location is great if you want to be a stone’s throw away from shopping and nearby Rt 37 By Pass to Northern Virginia. The walkability for this community is mainly within the development itself as the surrounding areas beyond the community are mostly commercial. Half of this subdivision is in the City of Winchester, and the other half is located in Frederick County VA. Frederick County has a lower tax base than Winchester City.

The Village at Harvest Ridge has an HOA fee of $170 per month. The basic amenities included in the HOA fee are:
